Saleembe is one of the most prominent democratic activists I have seen in the country. After joining the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), I had opportunity to share our thoughts towards the reform process in both congress held by MDP. he was one of the successful regional presidents within the party Saleembe is not just popular within his native atoll but through out the Maldives for is clear vision and scale of support MDP achieved through his dedication.
Today, we sadly miss him by all members of Ihvandhoo and other reformist. Our heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prays are with Late Saleems family. May God rest him in peace.
